Welcome !

Widows and Orphans International is a UK based charity that was registered in 1997. Our aim is to provide the highest quality service geared towards promoting, protecting and developing the health and training needs of Black and ethnic minorities in the community.
Most of our projects in the UK are based in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Our programmes promote the interests of disadvantaged BME groups living in the UK, our main beneficiary target group though not exclusively are refugees, asylum seekers and those affected by HIV/AIDS.
We work to promote health, socio-economic and cultural development aiming to address the needs of our beneficiaries proactively through culturally appropriate services, which focus on enhancing human resource development, disease prevention, information exchange and cultural integration.
