STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES PROJECT WITHIN THAMES WARD
Widows and Orphans International together with Harmony House and Studio 3 Arts have been commissioned by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to deliver a Strengthening Communities Programme within the Thames Ward.
Studio 3 Arts will be leading on the artist-led community engagement process to build links and relationships with the community and introduce the theme of belonging. Harmony House and Widows and Orphans will be leading on work with the Tenants and Residents Associations to develop their membership. This will then lead to the development of Belonging Charter that will be launched in the community bringing together all signers in December with an exhibition of the artwork created during the project.
